How does it work?
When a surfer agrees to share his or her position, our system collects his or her precise coordinates and locates him or her using all available localization solutions (wifi, 3g, 4g, gps signal…), with the utmost precision.
Our technology uses both the precise positioning of Internet users who have agreed to be geolocated, and their IP addresses. The latter are imprecise but allow us to cross-reference them by similarity with the IPs of users who have refused to share their positioning. By identifying these recurrences and similarities, we can precisely reposition users who refused the initial request.
If a location cannot be determined with precision (in 10% of cases), our solution systematically disqualifies these profiles so as not to show them erroneous advertising and avoid any wastage for the advertiser. Advertising is therefore only shown when we are certain of the surfer’s geographical location.
